We got engaged on a beautiful beach in Lakka in 2011. From this moment we were inspired to be able to share our special day on the beautiful island of Paxos with our family and friends.

Sam and Stu were warm and kind from the moment we met them in 2012. We immediately felt genuine warmth that helped us to feel comfortable to plan our wedding day from the UK. This communication remained until the day we were returning home from Paxos.

We had a few days to settle in Paxos before the wedding. Sam was there to meet us at the port and appeared at every moment that was needed. Stuart was always around to offer his support and advice. Sam has a calm and positive aura that really allowed everyone to feel relaxed and happy.

Our wedding began at Taxidi bar in Loggos and our ceremony and reception was at Bens Bar on Monodendri beach. Ben and his family were so warm and welcoming. They provided us all with a magical evening. The food was delicious and the décor and setting made our day a moment we will never forget. We are so grateful for this experience it was above and beyond our wildest dreams!

Thank you and all our love Cathryn and Adam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sam and Stuart ensured that our whole time in Paxos was special from greeting us at the quay to waving us off. They were dedicated to making sure our wedding was everything we hoped for even when the weather was conspiring against us!

Where do we start other than Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

From an initial phone call to Sam in early May to a late night call from Stu before leaving Paxos helpfully advising of a last minute ferry change, both Sam and Stu’s professional yet extremely personable approach allowed us to relax and enjoy what was a truly memorable wedding for the bride, groom and entire wedding party.

We had seen and heard great things about the island from family and friends, however, having not set foot on Paxos before and without an opportunity to visit before the big day, we did not give Sam much guidance or time to organise!

In just four months and with the help of her local and UK based contacts Sam worked her magic and arranged the perfect day for us. No question or query along the way (and there were many!) was too much trouble and with Stu’s help on accommodation and transport, all our guests had not only a wonderful day but an unforgettable week on Paxos.

The local suppliers were excellent - flowers, decoration, photography, transport, catering and hair/make-up for the ladies, not forgetting Theo and his family for our fantastic reception at Mongonissi.

Sam and Stu have a unique ability to attend to every detail on the day whilst at the same time being entirely unobtrusive, creating a truly relaxed atmosphere. It was exactly what we were looking for and enabled us to simply enjoy every minute of our wedding day.

We both just wanted to say a huge thank you to Sam and Stu for what was an amazing 2 weeks and a beautiful wedding. Having travelled to Paxos on numerous occasions as a child I honestly didn’t think that any wedding could meet our rather idealised expectations of a wedding there but Sam and Stu went above and beyond in every single aspect. After meeting with them last year in Gaios as a (very) newly engaged couple they instantly created an excellent impression and their experience of doing this shone through straight away. We were lucky enough to have a look at various venues whilst on holiday that they recommended but it was only when we hired a boat to take a look at Ben’s Bar on Monodendri beach that we both knew we had found our venue and could begin planning.

Over the next few months in the UK they both provided an extremely tailored and bespoke service that made us feel like we were their only client and as our stress levels went up the level of service and attention to detail only got better. Lisa had pretty fixed ideas, but to have a couple who live on the island and can run us through the practicalities and limitations of what we can and can’t do helped enormously and we quickly started relaxing and building up a picture of just how good it was going to be.

Upon arriving they were always available on emails dealing with the smallest things and we met with them a number of times to go over the details and as every meeting was done in view of the sea with a glass of wine in hand they were always something we looked forward to. They obviously have strong relationships with their suppliers and it’s nice to hear that everyone has come across them in some capacity from Ben to the boat hire people and most people in between so it was unsurprising when the wedding went off perfectly to plan.

The boat trip they organised, was perfect and everyone had a boozy afternoon of chatting and swimming on a beautifully decorated boat. The reception itself was a beautiful evening with amazing food in a stunning location. Ben had decorated the place perfectly and the food cooked by his mother was both rustic and delicious and perfectly Greek. In fact it turned out to be our best meal of the whole two weeks.

Needless to say we were very sad to leave but we are constantly reminded of just how special it was, as every time we bump into our guests they tell us it was not only the best wedding ever but their best holiday ever !! Thank you Sam and Stu for showcasing the island I fell in love with all those years ago and for going beyond our wildest dreams in making that day the happiest day of our lives. You’re worth your weight in gold!

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to Stuart and Sam for making our big day everything I had imagined it to be ….AND MORE, we will remember you forever!!

When we initially decided to get married abroad, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding in the Greek islands.
I love the laid back atmosphere, beautiful scenery, gorgeous warm weather and have always found the Greek people very accommodating, passionate and friendly.

Initially, I was worried about how it would all come together and ‘flow’ into a beautiful day. It seemed a bit of minefield trying to organise all the smaller detail that we felt would make our day unique and special to us.

Once we had chosen Paxos as our wedding destination the rest just seemed to fall into place. I am so pleased I chose this island, it is authentically stunning.
I got in touch with Sam, who rang me within minutes from Greece and explained to me in great detail how everything would work. She went on to answer my one hundred and one questions, and I never once felt a nuisance in doing so.

Sam was so organised and showed great empathy in organising our day.
I had 35 guests and every single one of them were mesmerised with the scenery and attention to detail.
Infact a couple who joined us at our wedding came home and booked the same thing for themselves next year!!!
The food was amazing, the boat trip was a dream, and the venue was out of this world.

Everything was taken care of and I was made to feel like a Greek goddess by every single person Sam introduced me too.

Thank you and so much more. I think if my whole wedding party could get married again they would have exactly as we did.

You are amazing and if anybody is after magic, it comes naturally to these two!!!

Love to you both.

Our wedding on Paxos was an amazing fairy tale. Absolutely perfect but it would never have happened without Sam and Stu.

I had visited Paxos several times and the island had always been a special place for my family. My first holiday with Ray was to Paxos and when we decided to get married we couldn’t think of a better place.

Sam made everything so easy. We communicated by email and she always replied promptly and helpfully. We had some ideas of how we wanted the day to be and Sam gently pointed us in the right direction whilst making our dreams come true.

Everything was wonderful - the flowers were more than perfect - we had only sent Sam a few small pictures of the sort of bouquets and button holes we liked with a brief description. When she brought them to our villa on the morning of the wedding I couldn’t believe how lovely they were and just what I wanted - so very, very pretty.

From the minute we were all picked up everything ran so smoothly - the ceremony in Gaios, the boat that took us to Loggos (of course we had to have Mamma Mia playing) the reception at the Roxy Bar where we said our vows to back on the boat to Bens Bar for the main reception.

The “sparkly” wine that Sam assured me would be fine certainly was!!

The Roxy Bar was perfect in every way and just what we wanted. Sam and Stu had taken care of all the details.

Ben’s Bar was fantastic as were Efi and Ben. Efi produced a wonderful feast, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious - and so much of it!! After we had eaten we went down to the bar where Ben played music he had chosen for us and we drank many of his Cuba Libre’s.

We would recommend Bens Bar to everyone.

Paxos plus Sam and Stu - perfect combination for a perfect Greek Wedding.

We just wanted to say thank you for everything you both have done for us to make our wedding day so special.

The olive grove looked beautiful and exceeded all our expectations and the taverna looked amazing.

Thank you for helping all our guests with accommodation and transport, everybody had such a great time, thanks also for organising the family get together the night before.

The day went so quickly and we enjoyed every moment of it. It is a day we will never forget and will have the memories with us forever.

Thank you again for creating an unforgettable day for us.

Coming out to meet you in October 2012 for a long weekend was exciting but also a little scary having only had one phone conversation and exchanged a few emails but from the moment we arrived everything seemed to go swimmingly. Meeting us at the port, you were both unreservedly warm and welcoming and the island was just as beautiful as we had remembered. Soon realising that you both knew virtually every supplier on the island, your local knowledge was exceptional and our wedding could be as unique as we wanted, we knew without doubt you would be the people to organise our special day.

So nine months of emailing back and forth ensued. We were always made to feel like we were a priority and that we were well looked after with any ideas, queries or decision jitters we had. Every email was responded to in a timely and assertive manner.

We used your contact to deal with the legal side of the marriage in the UK, she delivered to time and was just one of a whole host of suppliers we must thank who through you helped to make sure our day was totally unforgettable.

The reading was conducted with warmth and charm, the caterer’s produced delicious peach Bellini’s and canapés to a high standard. The hairdresser was sweet and very accommodating; along with her team ensuring 7 ladies had great hair in good time (in spite of a few power cuts).

The florist sourced exactly what we were after (despite a fairly vague brief) and made our amazing flower arch from scratch on the day. The boat trip went exactly to plan surprising our family and friends by sailing around the island and through Gaios with a drink in hand and our favourite tunes playing was so much fun. It’s a fantastic memory we will never forget.

Theo and his team at the wedding reception gave us an authentic, tasty and huge wedding feast with more jugs of wine than the 43 of us could even attempt to try and drink!

The band was fab in spite of our concern that we hadn’t listened to them beforehand, just as you had assured us they would be. Theo’s gorgeous venue beside the sea and the party as a whole just felt dream like, it was even better than we imagined it would be, all thanks to all your preparations and effort.

We certainly felt none of the pressure and last minute stress that I’m sure a more traditional wedding bride and groom feel.

Nothing was ever too much trouble and we truly felt you both went that extra mile for us during our entire stay on the island. Delaying the hydrofoil, arranging for our brother in law to use the caterer’s kitchen to make our wedding cake, finding dentists and dealing with the mayor’s office are all examples.

Along with our families we both had super high expectations of what we wanted for our wedding weekend and we certainly didn’t go to Paxos with the mindset that we would have to compromise on anything just because it was abroad. Thanks to you guys we didn’t have to.

Paxos will always have a very special place in our hearts, thank you again for the most wonderful wedding weekend you helped arrange for us.

We would like to thank you both so much for your efforts in arranging our wedding. Sam was absolutely brilliant in organising the day and responding to all of our email queries. We had a number of friends organising weddings around the same time and can honestly say that, having left all of our ‘wedmin’ in your careful hands, we were the most relaxed couple by far.

We appreciate that ferrying 50 guests from, and back to, mainland Greece for the day was no mean feat and we were extremely grateful to the captain and crew of the Despina for all their efforts, including the beautiful decorations on the boat.

The ceremony on the beach was exactly what we had in mind, from the Greek band who played beautifully, to Ada’s fabulous smiley reading. So many of our guests have commented on what a great job Ada did.

Ben’s Bar has been a favourite place of ours since we first visited Monodendri years ago and Ben and Efi could not have made the day any more special. The decorations were beautiful and the food was in abundance and tasted amazing, we are still kicking ourselves for not asking for a doggy bag! We had a fantastic time dancing the night away with our nearest and dearest fuelled by Ben’s fabulous cocktails!

All in all, you managed to capture the laid back party atmosphere we had hoped for and far far more. Quite simply the best day ever!

Our wedding in Paxos exceeded all our expectations and those of all of our guests. Paxos has gone from a place where we used to holiday to a place where we have friends and memories of the best few days of our lives. None of it would have been possible without Sam and Stuart who held our hands every step of the way, from braving the Greek legal system to the magic and romance of amazing locations, food, music and atmosphere. They made things effortless for us, and that relaxed atmosphere reached into every aspect of our wedding, which was very important to us. But as well as doing a great and professional job, what we were most impressed by was what a genuine couple they were, who take great care, attention and personal interest in what they do. We will be eternally grateful to them and will always look forward to seeing them in Paxos.

My husband and I don’t know where to start about Paxos Weddings and Sam! Our wedding was quite literally a dream come true, even writing this I have tears in my eyes, as we would both love to do it all over again!

Let me start by saying I was not the easiest bride to deal with. However, Sam was patient, good humoured, calm and professional at all times!

I emailed Sam 6 months prior to our wedding to get the ball rolling and from the very first email, to still being there at 1am on the wedding day, she guided us with great care and attention to detail. It’s obvious after speaking to local suppliers that Sam really, really cares about her couples and wants to create a personal, tailor-made wedding for each client.

I tried to control everything from the UK, down to the last minute detail, but this was a waste of time and energy as Sam had absolutely everything in hand. Neither my husband or I had met Stu. However, he seemed to know exactly what we wanted and to see his calm face as I approached the olive grove was priceless and made me feel instantly relaxed.

That brings me on to the olive grove where our ceremony took place. All I can say is ‘woooooooow’. It was the most beautiful, romantic and atmospheric spot I have ever been to. Our guests were silenced by its loveliness and tranquility. The artistic Spiro Taxidi transformed the area into a magical oasis and words can’t describe how magnificent it was.

Our reception was held at Ben’s Bar on the picture postcard Monedendri beach and once again, Spiro, Ben and Sam transformed the decking area into a cool, laid-back, stylish venue. Spiro even scattered flowers on the floor so when people stepped on them they would smell their wonderful scent - that is attention to detail! Ben certainly knows how to get a party started and our friends and family danced and drank til the wee hours, whilst looking out to the twinkling lights of the mainland… heaven!!

Every single one of Sam’s suppliers are exceptional. Eleni the local hairdresser is better than any hairdresser in the UK! I gave Sam a small brief for my bouquet and again, the result was stunning and exactly what I had in mind. Manos the guitarist is a true gem and created an amazing atmosphere, both in the olive grove and throughout dinner.

Writing all this fills me with emotion and puts a huge smile on my face, as I realise just how lucky my husband and I were to have discovered Paxos and to have found Sam. We had the best day of our lives. Everything I wanted Sam delivered with grace and good humour. Both Dan and I want to thank her from the bottom of our hearts.

To sum it up, our day was magical. Not a cloud in the sky, with 50 of our nearest and dearest around us. It really was the perfect start to a long and happy life together.

Greece is our favourite holiday destination, with friendly, genuine, hospitable people, wonderfully home cooked cuisine and guaranteed sunny, hot weather, the only dilemma was… Where in Greece shall we spend 3 weeks for our holiday, wedding and honeymoon! After a little research and tour companies failing to respond to our enquiries we stumbled across Paxos, having never been before the pictures looked stunning, small, peaceful and perfect. We were put in touch with Sam and Stu who were prompt, professional and accommodating from the word “GO”.

With emails back and forth and a few pre wedding meetings on the run up to our day it all fell into place with ease, trusting Sam & Stu explicitly as they knew exactly what we wanted. The day was about “the two of us” and with no family and friends attending that is exactly what we got. After a private ceremony and an exchange of vows we whisked ourselves away for the afternoon on a speedboat and with a champagne picnic to follow what more could you ask for. Sam & Stu met our every needs and we both wish them well with their wonderful life and future in Paxos - one day I am sure our paths will cross as we fell in love with Paxos, the people and the relaxed way of island life.

After being together for 16 years, the time felt right for us to get married. We had visited Paxos some five years earlier and loved the island, so we had no worries about the location.

One day we googled, getting married in Paxos and stumbled across Sam and Stu’s website. Immediately excited by the information and gallery we sent off an enquiry form with a proposed wedding date, thinking nothing would come of it.

An email was sent back promptly from Sam and we quickly hooked up and spoke over the phone. During this conversation we talked over ideas for the day and it just felt magical, we fixed the date and the planning started. I immediately felt able to trust Sam, despite family members thinking we would get scammed he he.
On deciding to get married in Paxos was immensely exciting and we decided to keep events of the day a surprise for our guests, very hard when you cant keep secrets.

With Stu’s support and patience we fixed everyone up with the most fabulous accommodation and the best location, Loggos. He also guided us with which flights to book so that we could arrive in time for the Flying Dolphin transfer.

In the time leading up to the wedding Sam guided us through the whole process, I can genuinely say we did not get stressed at any point. She gently filters informations and decisions to be made through in emails leading up to the big day so we never felt overwhelmed or panicked once.
She always gave guidance and despite my 100’s of emails she always responded quickly, professionally and was warm in her response.

When we arrived in Paxos and meet Sam and Stu at the Port , it felt like we were old friends. We immediately felt they were easy going, genuine people, a rare find.

Everything in the lead up to the big day was fabulously organised, it was relaxed and fun. We were able to enjoy our holiday prior to the big day. We met a few times to go over details, met some of the contacts for the day, but felt totally at ease due to the relationship Sam and Stu had with these people.

Our day was magical and exceeded all our expectations. It is hard to put into words but we felt a feeling of warmth and joy from our day and to see our family and friends faces was unforgettable, and something we will cherish forever.

Paxos island fills you with love, the people that we meet along the way will stay in our hearts forever, Kostas, Tolis, Afroula and Co, Lefko and Yannis.

All of our family and friends fell in love with Paxos and its charm and are already booking up return holidays for next year.

Sam and Stu were an amazing find. Our wedding and honeymoon would not have been what it was without them. So we owe them sincere gratitude and love.

We feel very lucky for being able to marry on Paxos island and all the memories we have from that 3 week period of our lives.

We wish Sam and Stu ongoing success in they’re life and business.

Big love Liv and Lee

After looking at various venues in the UK and booking our wedding day, we went on a holiday to Paxos. Having had a fantastic few weeks we arrived home and decided to cancel our plans for a UK wedding and get married over there! We came across “Paxos Weddings” and everything soon fell into place. Sam and Stuart were fantastic, they understood immediately that we wanted a really laid back day, and completely reassured us that they were able to provide that.

We spoke with them several times before arriving on the island; emails were always replied to promptly and their knowledge of Paxos is unsurpassed. From advice about the documents we needed down to who could provide canapés, they always had the answers.

The BIG plus point for us when using Paxos Weddings were their contacts on the island. Four days before our wedding day an unseasonal rainstorm was forecast. We had a pre-arranged meeting with Sam and Stu and before we could even ask their advice they had the solution. They’d already made plans for our day to be moved forward by 24 hours to miss the storm and had arranged it with the Town Hall/all the different suppliers, if that was ok with us!

Their flexibility and resourcefulness was also evident on the day itself. Originally we had been planning to hold the Reception at our villa; as intermittent rain was forecast, however, Sam suggested that we instead hold this at the restaurant run by the caterers (Carnayo). This worked perfectly; Sam and the team at Carnayo transformed the restaurant into the most amazing setting.

In short, we cannot thank Sam and Stu enough. We had the most wonderful, stress-free wedding we had dreamed of. Without them it could quite literally have been a washout!

Having fallen in love with Paxos on our first visit in 2009 we immediately knew the island would be the perfect setting for our wedding after we became engaged last year.

We first met Stu in Paxos on that first visit, when he assured two quite jaded travellers that there really wasn’t anywhere else quite like the small Ionian island. Not only was he right - we’ve been back three times in the last three years - but we also saw him and Sam in action when they organised a wedding in Loggos that we both wanted to join in it looked like so much fun. As a result we met them both in a rainy London in November 2011 to discuss options for our own celebrations. It was great to find out about potential venues and suppliers for the big day and we never once felt that Sam or Stu were trying to broker any set format for the wedding - they just asked lots about what we were looking for and what we hoped the day would be like. It’s Sam and Stu’s knowledge of (and love for) the island that really sets them apart from any other wedding planning service. We knew instantly that we were in safe hands.

Sam’s sterling work in identifying the right place for us and liaising with local landowners ended up with us having the perfect setting. After looking at her photos, we chose a stunning grove in the north of the island - when we arrived in Paxos this past August and saw it in person for the first time we were both overcome with emotion - it could not have been more beautiful. The ever helpful Spiro was on hand to work with Sam and Stu in turning an ancient olive grove into the most wonderful setting, using only the finest touches.

In line with our desire to have a relaxed, intimate reception Stu secured the Villa Mouzmouli for us as both lodging and venue. It provided the perfect setting and the exquisite views (and the perfectly placed new moon!) had guests literally gasping in amazement as they arrived. The table settings were stunning and the catering was authentic and brilliantly done. We put a lot of trust in Sam’s relationships with her suppliers and we were not let down in any way.

Being more than a little bit of a control freak, and a project manager for a living, I have no doubt that I wasn’t the easiest bride to deal with - especially when so much is done via email and not in person. I did a lot of micro-management of small details and my demands were met with patience, compromise and a lot of good humour. When we arrived, and for the week before the big day, Sam and Stu were always at the end of the phone for the smallest matter, talking me off a ledge when half our guests were stranded on Corfu overnight due to the high winds and my stress levels went through the roof!, and organising transport for everyone for the night before the wedding and the day itself. Sam and Stu were with us for the entire day and evening, Stu even driving me the last few hundred yards to the olive grove on the rocky path that the Mercedes couldn’t get up, and at the end of the night when our guests were all in the pool and no-one was leaving, he managed everything with grace and good humour.

We had a truly magical wedding and it wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic partnership of Sam and Stu. We hope they know how grateful we are for their time, dedication and unending efforts to make sure we had the best day of our lives - and we’re already looking forward to catching up with them on our next visit to Paxos.

We would like to say a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ for helping to make our silver wedding such a perfect occasion.
From the first emails, your approach was spot on; professional, knowledgeable and personal. You pre-empted every little detail, consulted us and then ‘simply’ organised it.

Some of you reading this might wonder why after 25 years, did we do it all again? Basically, at the alter in 1987, Gary was not allowed to kiss the bride! Also following tradition, I did not make a speech at the wedding breakfast. Both things we rectified 25 years to the day on a little boat off the waters of Paxos.

Ada conducted the ceremony beautifully with great meaning to what she was saying. Stu was in the background on the boat just making sure all was well. Ioanna served delicious canapés and plenty of pink champagne whilst Sam organised pretty much everything else, all in an unobtrusive, unflustered fashion. (Flowers, transfers, taxis, pebbles, decoration, restaurant, photographer, car, tourist information and even lacing up my dress!)

The day was wonderful, and the most important thing was that our family were there to celebrate with us. It was everything and more that we both had hoped for, with memories to last for the next 25 years!
Paxos is a beautiful, relaxed, charming island; a perfect wedding venue and, if you will excuse the pun, Sam and Stu, you are the icing on the cake (which, by the way, was delicious!)

Many many thanks

I think asking Sam and Stu to organise our wedding was the best decision we could have made.

I had holidayed in Paxos about 12 years ago and had always planned to return, so when we found Paxos Weddings it seemed ideal. As we have two young boys life seemed far too hectic to organise a wedding but it really couldn’t have been easier with Sam and Stu. From the first time we spoke to Sam on the phone we felt confident that she would be able to make our day work for our family.

We had a week before the wedding to get to know the island, to meet Sam and Stu and to make a few final decisions (the most stressful thing was deciding what shape to have the cake!). A couple of days before the wedding we ate at the stunning Erimitis restaurant on the cliff top and watched the sun set beyond the cliffs. That was another brilliant icebreaking idea for the family and friends from Sam and Stu.

The whole wedding day was really special. We strolled into the beautifully sleepy Loggos from our apartments and boarded the Lefcothea which took us to the island of Kaltonissi in the south. Moored by a lovely little church, Ada conducted the ceremony with great warmth as Stu and Ioanna stood by with the Prosecco and canapés. When one of bottles noisily opened itself during one of the readings we were all in stitches.

Sam and Fotini had prepared a gorgeous flower strewn wedding table for our arrival at the beach taverna in Mongonissi. After a generous wedding breakfast we had our “first swim” in the stunning bay and the kids could all let off steam!

In the evening the Roxy brothers in Loggos looked after us on their roof terrace as we watched the world go by in the harbour.

Thank you Sam and Stu for everything you did for us. Our guests were full of praise for everything from the accommodation advice to the pebble name places, flowers, gorgeous canapés and of course the wonderful island itself. We are so grateful that Sam and Stu were at the same time both organised but very relaxed, friendly and well connected with people on the island. Sensitive to our needs and non-intrusive at the same time, diplomatic and able to adapt to our needs with no fuss, it meant that we were able to enjoy a wonderful time without the stress.

We hope to return with our boys (and by the sounds of it our family and friends!) in the near future.

When Bryan and I first decided to get married in Greece we looked at many islands before a colleague mentioned he had honeymooned in Paxos. As soon as we began researching the island everything clicked into place and it felt instinctively right. We booked a visit to explore different options available for a wedding and scheduled consultations with wedding planners towards the end of the trip. What we found was pretty much every potential venue we looked at from restaurants to villas the proprietors recommended we use Sam and Stu as our wedding planners, by the time we met them it was a done deal! In fact we cancelled the other wedding planner meetings. Their local knowledge and contacts were instrumental is making our day so special as was Sam’s advice in terms of what would and would not work. It really was like having a second brain and we could not have done it without her.

The musicians and dancers exceeded our expectations as did our stunning flowers and table centrepieces. Everyone was so friendly and committed to making sure our day was memorable. Glyfada Beach Villas was perfect for our guests as everyone could stay within very close proximity of each other whilst maintaining their own personal space. Every single one of our guests are planning a return trip with many people saying it was the best holiday they have ever had. As for us we have already booked a return trip for our first wedding anniversary!

I really cannot recommend Paxos Weddings, Glyfada Beach Villas and Paxos enough!

We decided immediately after our engagement that Greece was where we wanted to get married, mainly for the beautiful scenery and gorgeous food, but also for us to be able to have an idyllic holiday as part of our wedding celebrations. After a lot of searching we came across Paxos and knew straight away it was perfect for us. We wanted somewhere relaxed, traditional and unspoilt and Paxos ticked all the boxes and more. After contacting Sam and Stu it became apparent we’d made the right decision, they really took the time to get to know us and the type of day we wanted to have which was so important in helping us decide on the location. We wanted a civil ceremony which can only take place in the town hall in Gaios, and so Sam suggested we just do the paperwork there with our family and then have the ceremony later which we did. This allowed us to have a friend officiate which felt right rather than have someone who didn’t know us at all. We decided on Bens Bar at Monodendri beach for the reading and reception which couldn’t have been better. We weren’t able to make it over to Paxos before the wedding and so completely put our trust in Sam and Stu which we are more than happy to say was the best decision we could have made! Bens Bar was a fantastic location, absolutely stunning with the best hosts ever, Ben and his mum Effy were so obliging and the food was amazing, all local, much of it being from their own garden. Sam and Stu have a great philosophy in letting you decide what you want for your own wedding, rather than offering a package deal. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their contacts on the island helped us have the best day ever.

We were lucky enough to have 30 friends and family join us for the wedding, all of whom loved Paxos and embraced the island life, including the Harbour Lights bar in Lakka which became our resident local while there! We’re all already talking about a Paxos reunion. Thanks so much Sam and Stu for making our special day even more special and for taking all the stress out of it so that we could really enjoy our time out there with each other and with our family and friends. We highly recommend Paxos Weddings and hope to see you again as we will definitely be back.
Lots of love Aisha & Gillon xxx
